Responsibilities
Oversee daily food service operations and ensure that all food and beverage orders are processed in a timely manner.
Ensure that all staff members are trained properly in the food service process.
Work with the Food Service Manager to ensure proper menu items are being served at all locations.
Coordinate all food orders with delivery services and vendors.
Ensure that proper inventory levels are maintained at all locations.
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen at all times.
Control costs by following recipes, purchasing supplies, etc.
Maintain proper inventory levels at all locations.
Oversee staff performance and provide performance feedback to improve productivity and customer service.
Comply with all health and safety standards in the kitchen area.
Control costs by analyzing cash receipts and manually adjusting inventory levels when necessary.
Control expenses by analyzing weekly food cost reports and manually adjusting manual functions when necessary.
Ensure proper billing of all deliveries, catering, catering services, etc., as well as payroll taxes correctly each week.
Assist in the training of new employees on proper food service procedures and maintain positive employee relations by treating them professionally at all times.
