We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Lines Account Technician to support our Commercial Lines Account Managers and ensure the smooth and efficient management of commercial insurance policies.
As a Commercial Lines Account Technician, you will be responsible for processing policy documentation, assisting with client inquiries, and providing essential administrative support.
Your ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and your expertise in insurance procedures will contribute to the success of our clients' insurance programs.

Key
Responsibilities:
Policy Administration:
Assist Commercial Lines Account Managers in preparing and processing insurance policies, endorsements, and renewals.
Review policy documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
Ensure policy data is accurately entered and updated in the agency management system.
Client Support:
Collaborate with Account Managers to address client inquiries, resolve policy-related issues, and provide timely and courteous support.
Collect necessary information from clients to facilitate the application, underwriting, and claims processes.
Maintain positive relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and responding promptly to their needs.
Document Management:
Organize and maintain client records, policy documents, and endorsements in a secure and accessible manner.
Monitor policy expirations and coordinate timely renewal processes to avoid coverage gaps for clients.
Insurance Carrier Interaction:
Interact with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain quotes, policy information, and necessary endorsements.
Follow up on outstanding policy requests and communicate updates to the Account Managers.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Assist in generating reports, summaries, and analytics related to clients' insurance portfolios.
Utilize data to identify trends and opportunities for improving operational efficiency.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all documents and processes adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Conduct periodic audits to verify data accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in insurance regulations, and advancements in insurance technology.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Previous experience in a similar role within the insurance industry is a plus.
Familiarity with commercial insurance policies, coverages, and terminology.
Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and policy documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and insurance carriers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work based on deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
Adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive client information.
