We are seeking an individual to join a highly motivated team in selflessly advancing The Association of Former Students' noble mission by supporting our strategic engagement efforts.
While fostering our team culture in line with The Association's Team Expectations, the ideal candidate will be someone who demonstrates skill in and devotion to:
(i) developing and cultivating trusted, long-term relationships; (ii) serving as a professional ambassador for The Association and Texas A&M; (iii) traveling extensively to engage with and support A&M Clubs; (iv) exhibiting a high level of organization to effectively manage multiple efforts at a time; and (v) successfully leading others to support a noble cause.
The Coordinator of Club Programs III will serve as The Association's primary liaison to all A&M Clubs outside of the Big 6 A&M Clubs and all A&M Clubs within a 100-mile radius of these particular Clubs, traveling extensively to engage with A&M Clubs in the areas in which they are responsible for.
This individual is responsible for The Association's All-Aggie Tailgates and away game Yell Practices.
Under the leadership of the Senior Vice President and Director of Former Student Programs, this individual is The Association's primary liaison to all Area Representatives, National Representatives and Representatives at Large and creates and delivers appropriate trainings for each.
In addition, this individual will help develop and execute innovative and strategic initiatives as well as collaborate with A&M Clubs to increase engagement within the Clubs, with each having its own identity.
While needing the self-motivation and persistence to effectively contribute as an individual, the Coordinator of Club Programs III will play a key role in collaborating with the entire Former Student Programs team to achieve The Association of Former Students' overall goals, mission, and vision.

DUTIES EssentialFunctions:
Collaborates with the Director of Former Student Programs and Club Programs team to develop and execute strategies to enhance The Association's engagement with all A&M Clubs worldwide.
Collaborates to create processes and protocols for the Club Programs team to maintain regular communication and contact with A&M Clubs worldwide.
Assists in the maintenance of a comprehensive calendar for all A&M Club meetings, fundraisers and events to be promoted on AggieNetwork.
com.
Collaborates in the creation of strategic programming for the Club Programs team to better engage with A&M Clubs worldwide, resulting in membership growth within the Clubs.
Identifies areas of prospective A&M Clubs, initiates communication with Aggies in the area and completes the chartering process for those who qualify.
Promotes and maintains regular communications to former students through various A&M Club and Association Programs to extend the reach and impact of the Aggie Network.
Collaborates with the other two Coordinators of Club Programs in the creation of the monthly Club Presidents newsletter.
Serves as The Association's primary liaison to all A&M Clubs other than the Big 6 A&M Clubs (Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Capital City (Austin), San Antonio, and Brazos County) and all A&M Clubs within a 100-mile radius of these particular Clubs, developing and maintaining strong relationships and frequently being visible at their Club meetings, fundraisers and events.
Travels extensively to build relationships with A&M Clubs and Aggies in an effort to increase engagement with, and affinity for, The Association of Former Students.
Serves as The Association's secondary liaison to the Big 6 A&M Clubs and all A&M Clubs within a 100-mile radius of these particular Clubs, developing and maintaining strong relationships and being visible at their Club meetings, fundraisers and events throughout the year as appropriate.
Promotes and maintains regular communications to former students through various A&M Club and Association Programs to extend the reach and impact of the Aggie Network.
Frequently speaks on behalf of The Association at A&M Club, board and officer meetings as appropriate.
Assists A&M Clubs with their programming/fundraising efforts and speaker selections.
Collaborates with A&M Clubs to increase membership and support of both the Clubs and The Association of Former Students.
Communicates news of relevant Association events to respective A&M Clubs.
Collaborates with the Events Team and Yell Leaders on all away football game and bowl game activities to include away football game activities and Yell Practice.
Collaborates with The Association's Events team to plan and execute activities and Yell Practices for all away football games, including bowl games.
Interfaces with Yell Leader advisor and Yell Leaders to plan away game Yell Practices.
Communicates with local A&M Clubs to solicit and secure volunteers to assist with All-Aggie Tailgates, creates the Club volunteer schedule as appropriate, responds to Club questions, and trains, directs, interfaces with Club volunteers at each tailgate.
Collaborates on the creation and delivery of all in-person and virtual trainings for Club Presidents.
Assists with the Club President trainings in Bridge, with volunteer trainings to be completed on an annual basis.
Trainings will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
Assists with the development of monthly trainings for all A&M Club Presidents via Zoom; creates monthly training calendar and promotes through appropriate channels to Club Presidents/officers at least one quarter in advance.
Collaborating with the other two Coordinators of Club Programs, creates courses for Club Presidents to be held at annual Volunteer Leadership Workshop, as well as trainings held in conjunction with Leadership Council meetings, leading trainings as appropriate.
Serves as The Association's primary liaison to all Area Representatives, National Representatives and Representatives at Large and creates and delivers appropriate trainings for each.
Serves as The Association's liaison to all Area Representatives, National Representatives and Representatives at Large, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
Creates and implements Area and National Representative and Representative at Large trainings in Bridge, with volunteer trainings to be completed on an annual basis.
Trainings must be reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
Ensures Area and National Representatives and Representatives at Large complete annual trainings and follow expectations in The Association's Bylaws to attend at least one Leadership Council meeting each year and contributes annually to the Annual Fund.
Collaborates with the Development and Fundraising teams to assist with cultivating and soliciting major and Annual Fund gifts on behalf of The Association of Former Students.
When speaking to A&M Clubs and Club leadership, promotes major gift opportunities as well as the importance of giving to the Annual Fund.
Meets with prospective donors before/after visiting with A&M Clubs or while traveling to cultivate and solicit major gifts on behalf of The Association.
Contributes to Former Student Programs events and activities, which includes:
Provides on-site support for Former Student Programs meetings and events, to include but not limited to:
Coach's Nights, President's Nights, Class Reunions, Constituent Network activities, Young Alumni events and meetings and Traveling Aggies Reunion.
Participates and provides input on various Association-wide activities, which includes:
Contributing to efforts to achieve our culture, engagement, and fundraising goals.
Providing on-site event support for Board and Leadership Council meetings.
Participating on internal event and task committees.
Participating in Association events including, but not limited to, Muster, Aggie Ring Day, Reunions, Distinguished Alumni Gala, Pass It Back Day, All-Aggie Grad Party, and All-Aggie Hullabaloo, as needed.
Representing The Association as needed at external events.
Serves as an ambassador for The Association by meeting Team Expectations; supporting The Association's fundraising, engagement, branding, and communications efforts; and fostering relationships with former students, current students, parents, faculty, staff and friends of Texas A&M.
Occasional other duties as assigned.

RequirementsEDUCATION Required:
Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University.
EXPERIENCE Required:
1-2 years of professional experience.
Experience with volunteer management.
Preferred:
3-5 years of professional experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Required:
Ability to operate a keyboard.
Ability to move and carry objects up to 75 pounds.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive on business trips.
Must be able to travel extensively by vehicle across the state of Texas and occasionally across the country, working irregular and extended hours, including nights and weekends as well as some holidays.
This position requires extensive travel during football season to the All-Aggie Tailgates.
Ability to stand/move around quickly for long periods of time when needed at events.
